She is responsible for the implementation of human rights due diligence across various supply chains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In her role, Terumalai has driven multi-stakeholder initiatives involving businesses, civil society, and government entities in Malaysia and beyond. She has managed high-impact projects, such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theconsumergoodsforum.com\/social-sustainability\/human-rights-ending-forced-labour\/key-projects\/palm-oil\/\">People Positive Palm Project<\/a>, and led capacity-building workshops in supply chains, fostering meaningful improvements in workers&#8217; rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to joining FLA, Nisha worked with various marginalized groups, including children and refugees, during her tenure with the UN Refugee Agency and UNICEF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nisha holds an academic background in political science and defense studies. She currently resides in Kuala Lumpur with her two cats, Gandalf and Arwen.
