As a member of the accreditation program team, he accompanies FLA\u2019s member companies through the Fair Labor Accreditation journey by supporting their efforts to build human rights due diligence programs and by verifying their alignment with the 10 FLA Principles. During his time with FLA, he has formed part of the team supporting SanMar\u2019s accreditation and led the accreditation of BELLA+CANVAS. He has also conducted field visits to verify the factory- and farm-level implementation of the FLA Workplace Code of Conduct in the United States, Guatemala, and Honduras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to joining FLA in 2021, Weaver worked for a human rights organization developing capacity-building projects for grassroots activists across Latin America.&nbsp;He has led and supported a variety of labor-community partnerships and activist campaigns on workers\u2019 rights issues, both in the U.S. and internationally. His prior experience also includes field research on workers\u2019 rights in the palm oil sector of Colombia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Weaver holds a master\u2019s degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy and a bachelor\u2019s degree from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
