She oversees a range of programs and projects aimed at fostering supply chain innovation and sustainable remediation and advancing FLA\u2019s mission to improve workplace conditions \u2014 particularly in upstream agriculture supply chains. Ku\u011fu provides operational supervision and technical support to regional managers across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), Latin America, and Africa, driving collaboration, capacity building, and research initiatives that promote responsible sourcing practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><br>Ku\u011fu joined FLA in 2016 and continues to lead the global <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fairlabor.org\/projects\/harvesting-the-future\/\">Harvesting the Future<\/a> portfolio, a multi-stakeholder initiative focused on remediation through collaborative efforts. In addition, she has managed a project funded by USDOL-ILAB that delivered practical frameworks to help agricultural companies strengthen their social compliance systems; the project addressed child labor and forced labor risks while improving working conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><br>With expertise in results-based management, community-based programming, capacity building, and monitoring and evaluation, Ku\u011fu has contributed to the development and implementation of FLA strategic projects. She also conducts needs assessments and delivers training across diverse supply chains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\"><br>Before joining FLA, Ku\u011fu worked on humanitarian projects in various countries, gaining experience in institutional assessment and strategic planning. She earned her bachelor\u2019s degree from Marmara University in in communication science, and combines her academic background with practical expertise to deliver innovative solutions for complex supply chain challenges. With Turkish as her mother tongue and fluency in English, Ku\u011fu brings a global perspective and a deep commitment to advancing labor rights and sustainability to her work.
