Fair Labor Principles focus on the systems, frameworks, policies, and procedures a company must have in place to ensure that workers\u2019 rights are respected in its global supply chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-large-font-size\">Members work with suppliers to implement the Fair Labor Code at the farm level. The code of conduct is accompanied by compliance benchmarks specific to the agriculture sector. These benchmarks recognize the special circumstances of agriculture work and provide guidance to companies on how to implement the code requirements through their agricultural supply chains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-large-font-size\">Members are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fairlabor.org\/accountability\/assessments\/agriculture-assessments\/\">assessed regularly<\/a> against the principles and benchmarks. FLA implements <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fairlabor.org\/accountability\/standards\/agriculture\/assessment-overview\/\">several types of Independent External Assessments<\/a> to evaluate the performance of each member company\u2019s human rights due diligence program and working conditions at the farm level.<\/p>\n\n\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"section quote quote--dark-blue\" is unique from other certifications in that it offers independent, third-party validation of the human rights due diligence program at the headquarters of the companies and at the farm level for
